Military Build I
SPORTY CHOP

CONGRATULATIONS ABE
MASTER SGT.!

 WE`RE PROUD OF YOU!

This build is particularly special. Its it for an active duty Soldier, who will be deployed AGAIN to Afghanistan.

We would like to share a story during the process of this build. There are always set backs, but here is one story that makes it all worth while.

Abe hasbeen  trying to find the largest off set sprocket. I thought I had one and was told it was the largest out there! NOT. Several phone calls later and working with the vendors that were supposed to have the 289-24T sprocket which is the largest out there (without a special manufacture request). After a month of heart ache looking for the correct off-set sprocket, I was so frustrated that I went to the internet and searched "Off-Set Sprockets". Several clicks later I came across “3Guyz.com”, when I went to there site there was a sprocket. I called that night and left a message for the sprocket I was looking for and my telephone number. The next day Andy Miller called me back and we talked about what I was looking for and I explained how I just could not find one. He told me that he was holding my sprocket in his hand. In talking I told him I was in the military and how the chop shop was building the bike for me and about my possible deployment. He told me about his step son just returning from Iraq. After trying to get a price, he told me that this was MY sprocket and I just needed to pay him for shipping. After I gave him all of my information for shipping I asked him how he wanted me to pay for shipping. He said it was going to be a pain and that it is probably better if he just send me the sprocket and I come home safe that was his deal! Unbelievable after looking so hard for so long and getting the run around from everyone else out there and I just happen across a class act company and great person in Andy Miller and the 3Guyz LLC. I still don’t know what to say. 3Guyz

   Abe`s Chopper
We are going to transform a stock Sporster into a radical Chopper,4 out-6 up Frame,250 tire and 12 over Front-End.This is going to be as budget of a build as we can possibly do without compromising any quality.Believe me,most big twins won`t be able to touch this Monster!

We`re getting a better look at the mock up fender-Fitting for the Battery box Here`s the fender with the new strut added to accomodate a 1 ton back ho if needed. Also note the adjuster with a slotted spacer, made to ease adjustment of rear wheel and centering the axle accuratley.Frame had 1/16 " slop in rear adjuster holes-unaccetable! Mo better now. Top motor mount fabricated from old Sporty-Mount-in  Progress

This weekend (7/13/08)started off good, got one side of the handle bars wired and the other side we had troubles sliding the wires through but prevailed.Installed new clutch cable, but first had to drill out derby cover screws.GOOD TIMES! We plumed the rear brake and bled it out.Works good.We also replaced intake manifold seals and carburator to an S&S Super E. This weekend we should be able to finish up the wiring, oil lines, front brake line and throttle cables.  Custom seat is on its way.Continuing the Sporty Chop ll This project is taking longer that expected again,as usual due to Events,Schedules and work. All thats left at this point is,wiring and plumbing, brake lines, oil lines etc. We are going to incorporate some 30mm combat round shells which were fired from an A-10 Thunderbolt  ll Warthog in Afghanistan on the Taliban September 20th 2002.In Defense of U.S ground forces.
